What do I wear?

Always the most frequently asked question! In general, I tend to discourage anything matching as it's more of a dated look. Instead, try coordinating outfits and experimenting with layers (weather permitting).  And when in doubt, always go for the neutral palette- you can't go wrong!  When you book a session with me, I'll send you a complimentary copy of my style guide and will also be available for any wardrobe questions you might have. I also strongly encourage my mamas or mamas-to-be to have their make up professionally done prior to our shoot. It's not required by any means, but I've found that a little bit of pre-shoot pampering goes a long way to boost confidence and help my clients enjoy the overall experience that much more. For those interested, I have a couple of amazing make-up artists that I send my clients to!

What if it rains the day of our session?

If it's a light drizzle and you're up for it, we can still do some fun photos in the rain! However, if it's a wash-out or the ground is too saturated/muddy, we will need to reschedule our session for another day and time.  I tend to watch the forecast and radar closely starting around two days out from the session and will often do my best to make a "game time call" if it looks like the threat of rain is imminent, so that it's not at the last minute.

When will I receive my gallery?

You will receive a preview within a week of your session, and the full gallery will be delivered within 2.5 weeks of the session. I typically deliver between 40-60 images for a full session (a minimum of 40) and your gallery will be a combination of black & white and full color edits.

Are you available to travel?

Yes!  I will absolutely travel and actually enjoy getting to shoot in new places!  Per the IRS 2019 rate, my mileage fee for any location beyond 30 miles of Richmond is $.58/mile.
